This course will be facilitated by Texas Parks & Wildlife (TP&W) certified instructors. Satisfactory completion of the course is required for all individuals born on or after September 01, 1993 who wish to operate power vessels (boats, PWC, etc) powered by more than 15 HP or sail boats greater than 14' in length. It is also a great refresher for experienced boat operators who may be a bit rusty.
Participants must be at least 13 years of age.
Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided.
Cost of the class is $35 and is payable by cash or check at the time of the class. Members may register online.
In addition to completing this PIYC registration participants will be required to create an online account with TP&W and register there also. The TP&W account will be required to download your certificate of completion once instructor uploads final exam results. Please register both at this site and within WildApricot.
